Nothing says Fall like the scent of homemade granola baking in the oven. Allison has been experimenting with granola recipes and finally landed on a great combo. She's been making batches on repeat and adding to yogurt and fruit for a delicious breakfast for her family. It's also a great snack. Grab a handful when you're on the go!
Ingredients
• 4 cups rolled oats (Allison uses 2 cups Organic Rolled Oats with Ancient Grains & Seeds and 2 cups rolled oats)
• 1 cup sliced almonds
• 1 cup whole cashews, rough chopped
• 1 cup pumpkin seeds
• 1/2 cup sesame seeds
• 1/4 cup ground flax meal
• 1/4 cup chia seeds
• 3/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1/2 cup good honey
• 1 tablespoon cinnamon
• 1/2 tablespoon good salt
• 1/2 cup dried blueberries
• 1/2 cup dried cranberries
• 1/2 cup currants
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a bowl, stir all dry ingredients together. Whisk oil and honey in a 2 cup measuring glass and pour over the mixture.
3. Spread onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown, tossing the mixture every 10 min.
4. Stir while it cools to room temperature. Enjoy with yogurt and berries or any milk of your choice!
